Melody Airdrop

Dear Symphonists,

As we’ve been writing in our previous article and all of you already know, PIANO had an unfortunate event. Because of that, we want to partially compensate those who believed in our project.

In the following article, we will present you the methodology of calculation for the airdrop amounts. Unfortunately, we can immediately say that the system is not perfect and not everybody will be satisfied, but it is our maximum what we can do in accordance with the possibilities and fairness. However, the idea is that with farming the airdrop on a huge APR, every individual can get back to at least break-even point in a short period of time.

There are three different types of airdrops:

1. FIRST AIRDROP: Presale MELODY Airdrop

This was simple — all wallets which participated in PIANO presale will get Melody in ratio 1:0.5.

2. SECOND AIRDROP: Pools & Farms MELODY Airdrop

All wallets you sent to us were checked 1 by 1 by our BOT — every transaction from the first interaction with PIANO to the cut-off time. Therefore, amounts you have written in the form were completely irrelevant.

AIRDROP AMOUNT = BOUGHT PIANO QUANTITY — SOLD PIANO QUANTITY (before cut-off time -> 05.04.2021 12:15 UTC+)

For every individual, loss in PIANO is just what you bought, and not what you farmed later. What you farmed later is just an additional profit, and we cannot cover that. However, some of you also sold big quantities in PIANO before the hack, and it has been deducted from the initial buy quantity. Therefore, BOT did not consider adding liquidity, harvesting, compounding or anything else — just buy and sell transactions (swaps).

So, to make this even more clear, let us give a couple of examples:

Example 1:

1. Bought 20 PIANO
2. Sold 10 PIANO before cut-off, and 20 more PIANO was left in the pool
   Your airdrop: 10 PIANO (20–10=10; we do not compensate for additional 10 piano you farmed)

Example 2:

1. Bought 20 PIANO and put in a farm
2. After some time, you had 40 PIANOs, and did not sell it
   Your airdrop: 20 PIANOs (20–0=20)

Example 3:

1. Bought 20 PIANO, and put in a pool
2. After one week sold 30 PIANOs, but still had at 10 PIANOs in a farm at cut-off time
   Your airdrop: 0 PIANO (20–30= -10; you sold 10 more PIANOs than you bought)

So, even if you had 1000 PIANOs in a pool at cut-off time but before that you sold 1500 PIANOs more than bought, you will not get the airdrop.

Additional about second airdrop:

• If you fulfilled the form after 10.04.2021. 15:00 UTC, it was not considered. The reason is — we needed the full airdrop amount to calculate tokenomics before developers could start to code
• Airdrops are not mutually exclusive — this means that you can get both first and second airdrop. In that case presale transaction is not considered as buy transaction for the second airdrop, as we cannot compensate you two times for the same amount of PIANO

As we can assume, a lot of investors will calculate their losses differently and think we calculated their amount wrongly. Therefore, here are the steps how you can use for the calculation:

1) Go on the https://bscscan.com/token/0xd46936677b2c1bb696f2b67c55239331e2b7cd42, and make sure you are on the PIANO contract. Then filter PIANO contract transactions by your wallet address:

2) Then you go to the last page (start from there) and you must check every transaction 1 by 1 by clicking on Tnx Hash:

3) When you enter the specific transaction, then you will be able to see if it is adding/removing liquidity, adding to pool, compounding, harvesting and or buy/sell swap. Only the last one is considered! Look at the “Transaction action”:

5) The final step is to simply calculate the overall BOUGHT quantity — SOLD quantity

If you follow the steps as stated above, you should get the same thing as our bot (parsed transactions):

THIRD AIRDROP: Hodler MELODY Airdrop

We have taken snapshot at cut-off time (the same we used for the second airdrop). Then we collected those wallets and did the same thing like in the second airdrop. We checked with the bot if you are positive or negative with the PIANO amount considering the whole project.
So for example, if you had 200 PIANOs in your wallet at cut off time, but before that your total buy amount was 200 and your total sell amount was 250, now you will get 150 MELODY tokens (-50+200=150).

As we stated before, we know that not everybody will be happy with this methodology, but we cannot compensate wallets where the total sell amount is larger than the total buy amount.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Impermanent loss is not considered for the airdrop, just PIANO loss
  Unfortunately, there was a small number of wrong addresses (it is about 20 wallets from approx. 2600 in total)
• PIANO airdrops have no connection with the MELODY presale — you will get what you need to get, no matter if you’ve invested in the MELODY presale or not
• If the amount was less than 0.01, you will not recieve any Melody tokens as the transaction costs more than you would receive.
